MATAMOROS by Edgardo Aragón, in International Competition, presented as a World Premiere at FID 2010 is programmed by the Modern Art Museum of Paris at the ARC, during the exhibition « Resisting the Present. Mexico 2000/2012 » from March 9 - July 8, 2012.
 SYLVIA KRISTEL - PARIS by Manon de Boer, winner of the Georges de Beauregard International award, presented in its World Premiere at FID 2004 is presented at the Heidelberger Kunstverein, in Heidelberg (Germany) from March 9 – April 15 2012.

RESONATING SURFACES by Manon de Boer, winner of the Marseille Espérance Award, in International Comptetition presented in its International Premiere at FID 2003, is presented at the Fundación Centro Ecuatoriano de Arte Contemporáneo, in Quito (Ecuador) form March 14 – Mai 13 2012.
TWO TIMES 4’33” (part of LE TEMPS QUI RESTE (ETUDES MUSICALES)) by Manon de Boer, in International Competiton and presented for its Wolrd Premiere at FID 2008, will be presented at the Museum of Art, in Knoxville (USA) from March 16 – May 20, 2012.
HISTOIRE RACONTÉE PAR JEAN DOUGNAC by Noëlle Pujol, winner of the Groupement National des Cinémas de Recherche (GNC) award, in French Competition and presented in its World Premiere at FID 2010, will be presented at the Espace Culturel Louis Vuitton, in Paris during the exhibiton « Autobiographies » from March 23 – Mai 20, 2012. The movie will be also shown at Le Safran, in Amiens on April 13 at 8:30 pm.

 SIBÉRIE by Joana Preiss, selected in International Competition and screened in its World Premiere at FID 2011 has been selected at the International Film Festival of Uruguay, in Montévidéo, from March 29 – April 8, 2012.
 200% by Nicolas Boone and Olivier Bosson, presented in its World Premiere at FID 2011 in French Competition, was be presented during the Flare nights organised by Languedoc-Roussillon Cinéma and the Superior School of Fine Arts of Montepellier, at the Rabelais Center, in Montpellier on April 2, 2012 at 6:30 pm in the presence of Olivier Bosson.
FACS OF LIFE by Silvia Maglioni and Graeme Thomson, presented in its World Premiere in International Competition at FID 2009, was programmed at the Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers during the Illegal_cinema#82 on April 2, 2012 at 8:00 pm.
 QU’ILS REPOSENT EN RÉVOLTE (DES FIGURES DE GUERRES) by Sylvain George, presented in its World Premiere in International Competition at FID 2010 is presented during the Ghett'out Film Festival. French Independant Filmmakers, at the Brattle Theatre of Boston and at the Bam of New-York (USA), from April 5 – 12, 2012 under Charles Burnett’s backing. The film is also projected at the dokumentarfilmwoche, in Hamburg (Germany), from April 11 - 15, 2012, at the Panazorean International Film Festival, in Ponta Delgada, in the Azores (Portugal), from April 14 – 21 and the ’Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, on April 26th at 8:00 pm.
TSE (OUT) by Roee Rosen presented in the Parallel Screen « Souffrance et cruauté » in its French premiere at FID 2011 is presented at the Beaux arts de Paris – l’École Nationale Supérieure, on April 10, 2012 at 5:00 pm.

MOCRACY - NEVERLAND IN ME by Christian von Borries, presented as a Work in progress in the Parallel Screen "Souffrance et cruauté" at FID 2011, is presented at the dokumentarfilmwoche, in Hamburg (Germany), From April 11 - 15, 2012
The film won the "Klaus-Wildenhahn-Preis" of the 9th documentary film week hamburg 2012.
THE UNSTABLE OBJECT by Daniel Eisenberg, winner of the Georges de Beauregard International Award, presented in its World Premiere at FID 2011,
THICKER THAN PAINT THINNER by Babak Afrassiabi presented in its World Premiere in International Competition at FID 2011,
Are presented at the European Media Art Festival, in Osnabrück (Germany) from April 18 – 22, 2012.
 L’ANABASE DE MAY ET FUSAKO SHIGENOBU, MASAO ADACHI ET 27 ANNÉES SANS IMAGES by Eric Baudelaire, presented for its World Premiere in French Competition, is selected at the San Francisco International Film Festival (USA) from April 19 – Mai 3 2012.

SPECTRES by Sven Augustijnen, Special Mention of the International Competition Grand Prix, Public Library award, Prize of the GNCR, presented for its International Premiere at FID 2011, is selected in the Festival International du Film Policier, in Liége (Belgium) and will be presented on April 20, 2012 at 9:30 pm. The movie has been also selected at the Docville festival, in Leuven (Belgium), from April 5 – Mai 5 2012, and at the Indielisboa festival, in Lisbon (Portugal) from April 26 – 9 Mai 2012.

As part of the VideoFId evenings, FIDMarseille is pleased to invite you to the screening, on Tuesday April 10, 2012 at 20h00, of a selected short films by Ben Russell. Among others will be presented THE RED AND THE BLUE GODS presented in the Parallel Screen « Anthropofolies » at FID 2010 and the project A SPELL TO WARD OFF THE DARKNESS, , in collaboration with Ben Rivers who received the Panavision/Air France award at FIDLab 2010.
