FIDLab Palmarès 2014

Palmarès
 
 The 6th edition of FIDLab ended on July 4th in Marseille.

An International co-production platform for documentary and fiction film projects at any stage of development. FIDLab 2014 selected 10 projects from 11 countries out of 371 projects we received.

The FIDLab offers time for reflection and work in two stages : the presentation of projects supported by images and sound, followed by one-to-one meetings with professionals.
 
The jury, Julie Chenot (Camargo Foundation), Luciano Rigolini (Arte, La Lucarne) and Michael Weber (The Match Factory) awarded 7 prizes.
 
The Panavision / Air France prize rewarded

Ray & Liz by Richard Billingham produce by Jacqui Davies Limited - UK

The laureate will receive 10 000€ towards the camera rental on their next shoot. In addition, Panavision is committed to supporting and accompanying all the selected projects, regardless of their original country and the format the shooting may take.
Air France offers two long-distance plane tickets to the prize winners.
 
The La Planète Rouge Award, a post-production company, was awarded to

Youth of Shanghai by Wang Bing produced by Gladys Glover and coproduced  by Yisha Production and House on Fire Productions – France/China
 
Planète Rouge offers :
- 3 days of color grading and conform with a color grading technician
- 4 days of sound mix 5.1 with a sound engineer
Master Print in HDCAM
 
The Sublimage Award was awarded to
 
Oleg de Andrés Duque produced by Estudi Playtime and coproduced by Intropia Media - Espagne

The subtitling company Sublimage offers the adaptation and translation of their project in one of the 3 languages of their choice : French, English, Spanish.
 
The Vidéo de Poche Award goes to
 
Oleg by Andrés Duque produced by Estudi Playtime and coproduced by Intropia Media - Espagne

The post-production company Vidéo de Poche will offer a DCP of the film. It will also offer a special discount for the DCP creation to all the selected projects.
 
The Gomedia Prize was awarded to
 
Jeunesse de Shanghai by Wang Bing produced by Gladys Glover and coproduced  by Yisha Production and House on Fire Productions – France/China
 
This prize consists of 7 weeks of image editing studio for a project produced or co-produced by a French company. The company will also offer a reduced price on the editing services to all selected projects.
 
The Akademie Schloss Solitude Award goes to

Les Nouvelles Femmes de Tokyo by Alain Della Negra and Kaori Kinoshita
France

This prize is a 3-month-residency between April and June 2015
 
The Camargo Foundation Award goes to 

Mitra – Events Unfolding by Jorge León 
Belgium

This prize will allow a residency of 4 to 8 weeks.
 
Particular attention will be paid by the Région Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur to the FIDLab projects produced or shot in the region.
FIDLab is sponsored by Eurimages, EAVE and supported by the CNC, the City of Marseille, the PACA Regional Council, the General Council of Bouches-du-Rhône.

The Award Ceremony was held at the Théâtres des Bernardines in the presence of Jean-Pierre Rehm, Head of FIDMarseille, Fabienne Moris, Rebecca De Pas, co-heads of FIDLab and the FIDLab's partners.

Following the success of this sixth edition, the FIDLab organizers are looking forward to meeting you in 2015 !
