FIDMarseille is pleased to screen Olivier Zabat’s new film on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. on its premises.
9 TOURS (2007, 90’)
9 Tours is a re-edit of two film: Miguel et les mines (2002) et 1/3 des yeux (2004). Film essay constructed in nine distinct chapters, 9 Tours is a technical fable that bets on the power of association: conference on autism, clip of a boxing match, mine-clearing operations, surgical operation, methods for classifying rare animals… The film lists “high risk situations” and presents itself as a laboratory of unsettling and extreme images.
In the presence of the director.

The accreditation forms for this year’s festival will be available on our website from May 19, 2008.
