     PRESTO - PERFECT SOUND by Manon de Boer, presented at FID 2007 in the Parallel Screen "Presto !", is screened at the National Museum in Singapore in the exhibition “A Story of the Image,” from August 13 – October 4, 2009. The film is also screened at the Lentos Museum, in Linz (Austria) in the exhibition “See This Sound,” from August 28, 2009 – January 10, 2010.
    
   DEMOCRATIE ? by Florence de Comarmond, presented in Vidéothèque Bis at FID 2009, is screened Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Marcel-Pagnol Cinema in Malakoff. The director and several members of the crew will be present
    
  RUINAS by Manuel Mozos, winner of the Georges de Beauregard International Prize, screened in its international premiere at FID 2009, is programmed in Beursschouwburg, in Brussels on September 8, 2009 at 7 p.m. in the Docscapes EME.
    
   BLIND PIG WHO WANTS TO FLY by Edwin, presented in the Parallel Screen "Etrange familiarité, familière étrangeté" [Strange Familiarity, Familiar Strangeness] at FID 2009, is screened in ContemporAsian at MOMA, in New York from September 11 – 17.
    
   THE ONE MAN VILLAGE by Simon El Habre, shown in a special Screening at FID 2009, has been selected in the Mediterranean Film Festival in Siroki Brijeg (Croatia), from September 2 – 5, 2009, and in the Split Film Festival (Croatia), from September 12 – 19, 2009.
    
   INDEPENDENCIA by Raya Martin, presented in the Parallel Screen "Les spectres de l'histoire" [Ghosts of History] at FID 2009 is programmed in the Toronto International Film Festival, from September 10 – 19, 2009, and at the Split Film Festival (Croatia), from September 12 – 19, 2009.

SEARCHING FOR HASSAN by Edouard Beau, winner of the First Film Prize, in French Competition, screened in its world premiere at FID 2009,
are selected in the Corsica.Doc Festival, from September 19 – 23, 2009 in the Palais des Congrès, Ajaccio.

    
 
 VIDEOMAPPINGS : AIDA, PALESTINE by Till Roeskens, Grand Prix of the French Competition, screened in its world premiere at FID 2009, is programmed on September 18 and 19, 2009 in the festival Les Informelles at the Ecole de la Deuxième Chance, in Marseille, continuous screening outdoors from 10 p.m.
It is also screened during the “Nuits étoilées” of the SACRE on September 24, 2009 at 7 p.m. at the Polygone Etoilé. The opening night with the films by the auteurs of the “Studio Autonome du Cinéma de Recherche,” which received awards from the FID, will take place with the filmmakers present.
    
   FRANCE 2007 by Jun Gee-Jung, Special Award of the Georges de Beauregard National prize screened in its world premiere at FID 2007,
LETTRE A LA PRISON by Marc Scialom, shown in a special screening and winner of a Special Award given by the GNCR jury at FID 2008,
Will be screened during the “Nuits étoilées du SACRE” on September 24, 2009 at 7 p.m. at the Polygone Etoilé, in Marseille with the filmmaker and members of the crew present.
The opening night with the films by the auteurs of the ”Studio Autonome du Cinéma de Recherche,” which received awards from the FID, will take place with the filmmakers present.
    
    LE PLEIN PAYS by Antoine Boutet, Winner of the GNCR Prize, in French Competition, screened in its world premiere at FID 2009, is screened at the Printemps de Septembre in Toulouse, from September 25 - October 18, 2009.
    
   

THEATRICAL RELEASES

    
    NOS LIEUX INTERDITS Leila Kilani, in International Competition, screened in its world premiere at FID 2008, will be released on September 30, 2009.

The film will be screened from September 30 – October 4, 2009 at the Alhambra, in Marseille, with a special screening on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 5:30 p.m., with the producer, Gérald Collas, present.
    
   THE ONE MAN VILLAGE by Simon El Habre, shown in a special screening at FID 2009, will be released in Lebanon and in Germany in September 2009.

VideoFID, the festival’s videotheque is open to the public on our premises all year round. Available for individual viewing are films shown in the previous years of the FIDMarseille festival. VideoFid includes more than a 1,000 titles culled from the Competitions, Parallel Screens and the Videotheque bis).
The videotheque is open Monday- Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Appointments are recommended.

VideoFID also programs films presented in the festival, during our monthly evening get-togethers. These screenings take place on the FIDMarseille premises in the presence of the filmmaker and with Jean-Pierre Rehm leading a discussion.
