FLUX DE MARSEILLE / Ballet National de Marseille - Festival de Marseille F/D/Am/M - Festival Mimi – FIDMarseille - marseille objectif DansE

Making our way side by side for years, we have today an irrepressible desire to speak in unison. Clearly. Together.
Why together?
Activists in the Arts, each of our organizations contributes to make Marseille a city open to the unexpected, the unknown and the bold.
Our programming plays fast and loose with disciplines and generations, blends audiences and upsets norms. Our programming leads to urban peregrinations and  imaginary trips in our heads and in our hearts.  shifts all boundaries, whether physical or mental, mediterranean or world, unites the intimate and the foreign and modestly recalls the memories of all territories.
For all these reasons, we have decided to act together: from May to July, we invite you to a joint voyage, from one event to another. We emphasize the singularity of each of our programming to which we give a common name: Flux de Marseille.

Heading towards 2013 and continuing our ongoing energies, we are making a first step together in 2010: the FLUX card.
This adventure is also yours.

The Flux card available for  45 € allows entrance for 5 performances. It can be purchased from FIDMarseille.

FIDMarseille and montévidéo are pleased to offer you, as part of the montévidéo FID  evenings every three months,  the screening of  MM, LAST INTERVIEW by Guillaume Bureau, presented in the First Competition in the Parallel Screen "Ghosts of History" in FID 2009, Tuesday May 25, 2010 at 8 p.m. at montévidéo.
Entrance Fee 3 €. Reservations are recommended:  04 91 37 14 04
Montévidéo / 3, impasse Montévidéo 13006 Marseille

In July 1962, at her home, Marylin Monroe granted Richard Meryman what was to be her last interview. The actress died in the night of 4 to 5 August. Extracts of that interview were to be published on 17 August in Life Magazine. The film goes back on these conversations, translated into French in such a way as to allow the original idiom to breathe and interpreted by Dominique Coquard, simply seated in a neutral interior. No attempt is made here to “recreate” Marylin, to take her place. That would be a waste of time and effort. The star has made an imprint once and for all of her body, her movements, her voice. Guillaume Bureau, a theatre director, has taken up another form of challenge for his first film. Instead he has taken the risk of getting the actress to make a come-back, to allow her words to resonate with their charm, to unfold like new in their so keen and supple intelligence, in their incredible generosity. Contrary to all expectations, body thus makes itself felt, a posture rises to the surface and breaks through the sealed icon. Ghosts have body; it is their voice, a music that echoes back to us, let us hark.
